Data Centres Incentives

Since May 2015, when the amendment to the Investment Incentives Act came into effect, data centre projects have been supported by means of national financial incentives, mainly in the form of corporate income-tax relief for up to ten years. Furthermore, financial support in the form of cash subsidies from the EU structural funds is available from the ICT and Shared Services programme for companies willing to establish a data centre in the Czech Republic. All regions within the Czech Republic are supported, with the exception of the Prague region, which is excluded because its GDP per capita is higher than the EU average.
