CzechInvest's Support
As CzechInvest is a state agency, all services for investors are free of charge. Since 1992 the CzechInvest team has exercised complete professionalism in working with clients, including confidentiality with regard to each investment project. CzechInvest offers a wide range of services throughout the investment project.
Stage 1
Our foreign offices represent CzechInvest abroad and actively promote the Czech Republic. Investment Development Department represents the first contact with the potential investor in the Czech Republic. The investor receives information about different aspects of the business climate and overview of investment opportunities in the Czech Republic. In the case of an investment in priority sectors the sector specialist also provides sector-specific information.
Stage 2
After the investment project's main parameters have been specified, the project is assigned a project manager who works with the potential investor throughout the site-selection and preparation period of the investment project. Other services offered in this phase are the following:
- Tailor-made visits to the Czech Republic
- Handling of investment incentives
- Business property identification
- Supplier and JV partner identification
- Liaising with government and municipal bodies as well as with already established investors
- General assistance until the start of operations
- Liaising with service companies with local experience that offer a wide range of services and are skilled at ensuring the smooth entry of foreign investments. These companies are represented by the Association for Foreign Investment
Stage 3
CzechInvest's customer care does not end with the investor's entry into the Czech Republic. Aftercare includes a wide range of activities. We strive to tailor our support to the individual needs of each specific investor. Among the most common forms of business support are the following:
- Support for expansion, reinvestments, development of research capacities
- Search for suitable industrial zones and business properties for expansions
- Consulting services regarding co-financing of projects from EU structural funds
- Support in the area of human resources and obtaining visas
- Development of investors' cooperation with secondary and higher professional schools and universities
- Mediation of negotiations with local authorities, state administration and public institutions
- Submission of investors' proposals for changes in the Czech legislation to the Government of the Czech Republic and cultivation of the Czech business environment
- Organisation of professional seminars, working breakfasts with top representatives of the state administration, roundtable discussions and social events
