Why should British firms invest in the Czech Republic?

CzechInvest, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in London and the Association for Foreign Investment (AFI), held a conference for British investors in London on 14 April 2016. Current investors met with those who are planning new investments in the Czech Republic, sharing valuable advice and experience with them.

The guests were welcomed by the Czech ambassador, Libor Sečka, at his residence. Representatives of CzechInvest presented the services that the agency offers to investors and the specific ways in which it can ease the entire investment process.

Another valuable benefit of the conference consisted in the appearances of representatives of two successful companies, Dixons Carphone and Tsubakimoto, who presented their experience with the Czech investment environment and the successes ensuing from their decision to invest in the Czech Republic.

Petra Rychnovská of the AFI and Tomáš Zacha of the law firm Konečná & Zacha also gave presentations and enhanced the discussion with their perspective on current trends in the Czech economy.

CzechInvest’s outgoing representative in London, Michal Mravinač, introduced his replacement, Lucie Polášková.
