Třinecké Železárny Wants to Produce 2.5 Million Tons of Steel

Třinecké železárny ironworks plans to produce 2.5 million tons of steel during 2014. In an interview with ČIA, the CEO, Jan Czudek, stated this adding that such production represents 50% of steel production in the Czech Republic. In 2013 the company sold about 2.4 million tons of its products. The volume of sales according to Mr. Czudek is not possible to predict, because it always depends only on current market prices. The best-selling products of the company include cylindrical wire, special bars, drawn steel or rail.
