TPCA Increases Production by 6.5%, will Hire 700 People by Summer

Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile Czech (TPCA) increased production by 6.5% on the year in March, as a result of the revived demand in Western European countries. For instance, the sales of the Toyota Aygo grew 17% in the first quarter. The increasing sales of the existing models and the expected high interest in the new-generation models require the hiring of more employees. Hiring activities that have so far focused on the Kolín district and Central Bohemia will now be expanded to other regions. By the end of the summer, TPCA needs to fill almost 700 new positions.
