SUBCON international trade fair attracts visitors from around the world

SUBCON, the biggest international trade fair of engineering suppliers, took place in England from 7 to 9 June 20116. The annual event, which is intended for the expert public, was attended this year by more than 360 suppliers from around the world. The Czech Republic had a privileged position at this year’s edition of the trade fair, as it was named Country of the Year 2016.

Together with representatives of the British office of CzechTrade, CzechInvest took part in organising the Czech pavilion, in which fifteen Czech firms mainly in the fields of mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, aerospace and electronics were presented.

The Czech stand has historically enjoyed a high visitation rate and this year was no exception. The largest number of visitors were attracted to a networking reception at which Czech firms and representatives of CzechInvest could meet with representatives of leading British companies. The event was held under the auspices of the Czech embassy in London.
