State development agency CzechInvest has new spokesperson

1 Mar. 2006 | CzechInvest | Business and Investment Development Agency CzechInvest has named Alzbeta Honsova as its new spokesperson. Ms. Honsova, who was previously the manager of the Agency’s press department, takes over the position from the head of external communications, Jana Viskova, who is leaving CzechInvest after three and a half years.

Alzbeta Honsova (29) came to CzechInvest in 2005 from the non-profit Association for Foreign Investments (AFI), where she was the General manager responsible also for external communications. Prior to her stint at AFI, Ms. Honsova worked as an English teacher of English as well as for CzechInvest’s sister agency, CzechTrade. She holds a degree in media and communications studies from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University in Prague and is also a graduate of the Institute of Basic Education.

Jana Viskova (31) came to CzechInvest in 2002 from the National Property Fund, where she worked for two and a half years as a spokesperson and manager of the press department. Prior to this, she spent four years as a television news reporter (TV Nova, TV Galaxie and TV Prima). Following a well-deserved vacation, Ms. Viskova will take up her new position in the private sector at the beginning of May.

Business and Investment Development Agency CzechInvest, is an agency of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Through its services and development programs, CzechInvest has been instrumental in attracting foreign investment and developing domestic companies since 1992.
