According to representatives of Shape Corp., this is the best formula for fostering new ideas that help to meet the needs of clients, thus contributing to the whole company’s prosperity. The American company has its sole European manufacturing plant in the Czech Republic. CzechInvest assisted with bringing the plant to Plzeň.

The objective of the Industry-sponsored Graduate Assistant programme, on which Shape Corp. cooperates with Grand Valley State University, is to involve students from around the world in the actual process while still at school and over the course of two years following graduation. Young engineers then return to their home countries, where they can fully utilise the experience they have thus acquired. Jiří Suchan, a recent graduate in the field of mechanical engineering, registered in the programme because he wanted to enhance his abilities through practical application of his theoretical knowledge. He also looks forward to attending NHL and NBA games while in America.
