Saint-Gobain Sekurit opens new production line in Hořovice

Saint-Gobain Sekurit otevřel v Hořovicích novou výrobní linku

Saint-Gobain Sekurit held the grand opening of its new production line for automotive glass on Friday, 3 June 2016, in Hořovice u Berouna. Construction of two new production halls covering an area of 13,000 m2 began in autumn 2014; the facilities have been in operation since spring this year. The staff has also been expanded with the addition of one hundred new employees. The line is already turning out windscreen glass for the Volkswagen Golf and the assortment of products is gradually being expanded for other customers such as Jaguar, Land Rover and Volvo, among others.

The grand opening was attended by representatives of Saint-Gobain, Martina Hasmanová and Tomáš Rosák, who announced another billion-crown investment by the company this year, and Karel Kučera, CEO of CzechInvest.

On the occasion of the grand opening, the company also unveiled the new form of its logo.
