R&D Spending Grows in Previous Years

According to an analysis made public by the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ), total R&D spending was growing from CZK 38.14 bln in 2005 to CZK 72.36 bln in 2012. The R&D spending formed 1.88% of GDP in 2012. Expenditures flowing from business entities abroad have been growing since 2005. The sum reached CZK 1.39 bln in 2005 and grew to CZK 7.13 bln in 2012. Financial sources from foreign public segment grow, too.
