Pioneers of global innovations meet in Silicon Valley
19 Sep. 2016 | CzechInvest | Topics that will become current in the next decade were pondered over at Pioneer Summit 2016
Pioneer Summit 2016 was held in Silicon Valley on 14-15 September. The world’s leading innovators, investors, technological visionaries and thinkers discussed how artificial intelligence, robotics and augmented-reality tools will change society and global industry. They also pondered over how people will work and develop in an increasingly fast-paced world, where we are pushing the limits of our knowledge thanks to unmanned aircraft, and the extent to which human population growth can threaten the planet.
The conference also featured, for example, the ideas and concepts of Nikesh Arora, a former executive at Google and SoftBank, biologist and geneticist Craig Venter, Ann Miura-Ko, whom Forbes magazine name the “most powerful woman in start-ups”, and Apple Store founder Ron Johnson.
