Randy Williams, founder of today’s biggest network of angel investors, will appear at the Opero co-working space in Prague’s Old Town on Monday, 10 April 2017. Williams will speak about the development of angel investing around the world, the situation on the American market and the future of start-up investment communities. Leading figures on the Czech start-up scene, such as Nikol Rafaj of Startup Yard and Karel Kučera of CzechInvest, will join him for the public talk and a panel discussion.

Keiretsu Forum is a global investment community of accredited angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate investors. It was founded by Randy Williams in the East Bay area of San Francisco in 2000 and it is now the world’s biggest angel investment network with more than 2,500 members in nearly fifty branches on three continents. The branch for Prague and Central Europe has been in operation since autumn 2015 and, in addition to bringing start-ups together with angel investors, is involved in cultivating the Czech investment and start-up environment. The local branch is currently heading the Angel Academy training project and working on standardisation of legal documents for start-ups.
