NonStop Recruitment Expands its Czech Branch in Pardubice

The Czech branch of British company NonStop Recruitment is expanding. The shared-services centre for recruitment and human resources, which is located in Pardubice, will expand into other economic fields and improve effectiveness of internal processes. The costs of introducing a new model of sectoral and geographical specialisation amount to CZK 65 million, more than half of which will be financed with an aid from the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. Part of the company was moved into the new premises in March. It is expected that fifty new jobs will be created in connection with the company’s further growth.

“The Czech Republic is a very suitable location for shared-services centres thanks, on one hand, to its strategic location, from which it is well connected to other European countries by well-developed road and rail networks as well as air routes. On the other hand, investors are attracted to the country by its qualified workforce possessing good language skills,” say Minister of Industry and Trade Martin Kuba.

“Aid in the amount of more than CZK 38 million, from the ICT and Business Support Services Programme, was approved for the project of expansion of NonStop Recruitment’s shared-services centre,” says Martin Frelich, Vice-Minister for the EU Funds, Research and Development of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. “Last year more than 163 projects requested aid from this programme; the total amount of CZK 1.7 billion was disbursed.”

“The firm successfully applied for aid from the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation for the second time. In the first instance, it was granted aid in the amount of more than CZK 35 million for the establishment and development of a shared-services centre, on the basis of which the company had hired forty people in Pardubice by 2011,” says Miroslav Krizek, CEO of CzechInvest. “Together, these two grants contributed to the creation of ninety new jobs in the Pardubice region.”

NonStop Recruitment s.r.o. has been operating in the Czech Republic since 2008 and currently employs 42 people. “We are planning to reinvest the funding we saved thanks to the grant here in the Czech Republic, says Karolina Kasparová, coordinator of the NonStop Recruitment project, commenting on the company’s interest in expanding its operations in the region and thus contributing to the development of the Pardubice region. “We’re also counting on close cooperation with the University of Pardubice. We want to enable professors and students to obtain knowledge of corporate practices in the area of ICT services. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to gain experience in our company.”
