New Škoda Perun Electric Bus Tested in Brno

Electric bus Perun developed and manufactured by Škoda Electric completed a test run in Brno. This was stated by the director of the trolleybus division at Škoda Electric, Karel Majer, who added that the battery-operated electric bus successfully passed the certification process. Perun is a 12-meter low-floor vehicle that can travel 150 km. The battery capacity is 222 kWh and the vehicle can be charged in 50 minutes. The manufacturer has registered interest in the vehicle from Poland, Germany and Slovakia. The electric bus is getting ready to undergo testing in further Czech and foreign cities.
