Neturen Czech s.r.o. officially starts operation of its new plant

Oldřich Bubeníček, governor of the Ústí region, spoke at the ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the official start of operation of Neturen Czech’s new plant at the Triangle industrial zone near Žatec. The event, which also featured the ceremonial planting of a Japanese cherry tree, was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and of CzechInvest, which assisted the firm in selecting the most suitable location. Also on hand was Tetsihikazu Fukuhara, the top representative of the firm’s parent company, Neturen Japan. Neturen mainly manufacturers steel armatures and hardened wire, which is used in the production of springs for automobiles and motorcycles. “The firm invested CZK 450 million in its plant in Žatec and plans to employ several dozen people there in the near future, which is very good news for the unemployed of the Ústí region,” saysOndřej Votruba, acting CEO of CzechInvest. In terms of area, the Triangle strategic industrial zone is one the biggest sites of its kind in the Czech Republic and currently hosts nine investors.
