Czech company Nanopharma contributes in global immunity research
4 Mar. 2014 | ČIANEWS | Czech nanotechnology company Nanopharma has become part of the global research focused on the improvement of the immunity.
According to Nanopharma head Liliana Berezkinová, the company participates in the research project ThymiStem. The project with a budget of GBP 5 mln (roughly CZK 165.94 mln) includes also six other research workstations including immunologists, biologists and tissue engineers. Nanopharma will contribute in the creation of a functional thymic organoid, which could significantly contribute in the improvement of the defence system of immune-compromised patients.
