Leading players from Silicon Valley “on the hunt” among Czech start-ups

Representatives of European start-ups in the IT sector met with major players in this constantly developing field of business from 3 to 6 February 2014 in San Francisco and Palo Alto, California. Three Czech firms – specifically Corinth, Braci and InveaTech – had the possibility to find future potential customers and investors among companies such as Sony, LG and INTEL. “The contacts and experience gained at the workshop helped us to open the door to the biggest global market,” says Jiří Tobola of InveaTech. “We are convinced that this is the right kind of event that the Czech government should support.”

For the Czech side, the partner of the event was the Czech ICT Alliance with support from CzechInvest. The Czech ICT Alliance intends to organise more events of this kind in other markets, not only in America, and with CzechInvest’s assistance it is currently seeking a suitable location for expansion of such a project.
