Kiswire opens new plant at Triangle industrial zone in Žatec

Kiswire představil nový závod v žatecké zóně Triangle

The South Korean company Kiswire opened its new production facility at the Triangle industrial zone in Žatec on Thursday, 15 December 2016. Up to eighty people will find employment at the factory in production and administrative positions; the number of newly created jobs should further increase in the coming years.

Kiswire is a major global manufacturer of steel wire and cables. At its Czech factory, the company will produce wire beads, which are used for reinforcing automobile tires and will be delivered to the most significant tire manufacturers across Europe. CzechInvest helped the company to find the site at the Triangle industrial zone. Kiswire was recognised by CzechInvest in the Investor of the Year 2015 competition, where it placed second in the Manufacturing category. The grand opening of the factory was attended by CzechInvest CEO Karel Kučera.
