Italian companies would appreciate streamlined bureaucracy and abridged visa obligation in the Czech Republic

A meeting between representatives of Italian industrial firms operating in the Czech Republic and officials from the Ministry of Industry and Trade was held in Prague on Thursday, 25 May 2017.

Deputy for trade Eduard Muřický, deputy for European funds, research, development, innovation and investment incentives Tomáš Novotný and CzechInvest CEO Karel Kučera presented the Czech Republic’s system of support for firms and investments to the representatives of fifteen companies.

In the subsequent discussion, members of the Italian-Czech Chamber of Trade and Industry focused on issues that generally hinder firms operating in the Czech Republic, such as excessive bureaucracy and the lengthy process of approving visas for foreign workers.
