On Friday 24 January 2014 Israeli Ambassador Gary Koren visited the Ústí Region. The ambassador commenced his visit with a discussion with students from high school Biskupské Gymnázium Bohosudově. In Teplice he laid flowers at the holocaust memorial. The meeting between the ambassador and hetman Oldřich Bubeníček hinted at possible future investment cooperation between Israel and the Ústí Region.
