Investment Week: Students from Šumperk visit Edwards

Edwards, s.r.o. in the town of Lutína in the Olomouc region welcomed to its factory thirty students from the Secondary School of Rail Transport, Technology and Services in Šumperk on Tuesday, 26 May 2015, in connection with Investment Week.
The Czech branch of the British company develops and manufacturers vacuum pumps. The excursion gave students an opportunity to picture the possibilities of working in this field, while the school strengthened its ties with the firm.
Such excursions, in which the academic and business spheres come together, recorded outstanding success last year, during the first edition of Investment Week. This year’s excursions were organised by CzechInvest and the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic.
