Innovation – Project for the protection of industrial property rights – Call I

The 1st Call for proposals of Innovation – Project for the protection of industrial property rights programme was announced on 15 December 2015. Applications are submitted via the IS KP14+ internet application. Applications are received from 4 January 2016 until 31 December 2017.

Basic characteristics:

Who can apply (aid recipients)

A business entity that is a person conducting business pursuant to Act No 90/2012 Sb., on Business Corporations and Cooperatives, or agricultural entrepreneurs as defined by Act No 252/1997 Sb., on Agriculture, and entrepreneurs in the food industry specialising in the production of items other than those listed in Annex I to the Treaty on the Functioning of the EU with a project in R&D and innovation.

How much can be obtained for each project (form and amount of aid)

  • The subsidy for a project is provided in an amount of no less than CZK 40 000 and no more than CZK 1 million, unless otherwise decided by the aid provider.
  • Aid intensity:
  1. A business entity that is small or medium-sized enterprise: 50% of documented eligible expenditures
  2. A public research institution: 50% of documented eligible expenditures
  3. A university: 50% of documented eligible expenditures.

  • Inventions/patents
  • Trademarks
  • Utility models
  • Industrial designs

  • Services of authorised representatives
