Huawei presents CTU laboratory that it is helping to equip

Huawei, a leading provider of solutions in the area of information and communication technologies, hosted a tour of the laboratory of advanced network technologies at the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the Czech Technical University in Prague on Wednesday, 27 May 2015. The company organised the presentation in cooperation with CzechInvest and the faculty.
The tour took place in connection with the second annual Investment Week event organised by CzechInvest in Prague and many other locations throughout the Czech Republic.
The laboratory of advanced network technologies has been in operation at CTU since 2012 and serves primarily for providing instruction in ICT subjects on the broadest possible portfolio of equipment from leading manufacturers such as Cisco, HP, Huawei, Juniper and MikroTik. Training, instruction, testing and laboratory assignments and simulations are carried out continually in the laboratory.
Huawei Technologies equipped the laboratory with, for example, AR1220 network routers, 3700 and 5700 switches, and Eudemon firewalls. Further expansion of technology platforms and of the scope of cooperation is planned.
