Government Representatives Discuss Czech Investment Priorities with EIB President

Czech Finance Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) met European Investment Bank President Werner Hoyer on Thursday, March 27, 2014 to discuss the future cooperation between the Czech Republic and EIB and possible fields for the investment funding. According to the finance ministry, they discussed the role and activities of EIB and its activities in the Czech Republic. The discussion applied also to investment priorities and the strategy of financing of the Czech Republic. Czech PM Bohuslav Sobotka (ČSSD) talked with Mr. Hoyer about the participation of Czech firms in EIB´s projects outside the European Union. He mentioned the involvement of the Czech Republic in joint activities of EU to support the growth and employment, including the employment of youth. It was one of the main priorities of the Czech government.
