Government approves construction of Přerov-Bochoř Strategic Industrial Zone

The Czech government has approved the establishment of the Přerov-Bochoř Strategic Industrial Zone. The location will be divided into two separate industrial zones and the airport at the site will remain in operation. The main benefit of the industrial zone in the region will be new jobs created within the zone and in related services.
Work connected with the implementation of the industrial zone’s construction should begin in 2017 and is expected to be completed at the end of 2018. By the end of August this year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, in cooperation with CzechInvest, will submit materials for implementation of the strategic industrial zone including sources of financing and the involvement of individual ministries in the preparation process. Investors are already expressing interest in the site.
