First technical department opened at the University of South Bohemia

The Department of Mechatronics at the University of South Bohemia offers students education combining electronics, electrical engineering, computer technology, informatics and mechanical engineering. According to Ondřej Votruba, this new, purely technical department will make the region of South Bohemia far more attractive for investors. He also reiterated that support for the local skilled workforce and cooperation between investors and universities are among CzechInvest’s priorities.
