First Czech-English biotechnology yearbook published

The Czech-English yearbook was compiled with financial assistance from the South Bohemian Agency to Support Innovative Business, under the auspices of and with support from the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The yearbook summarises the history of individual disciplines, the current state of the sector and challenges for the future, while also focusing on the current representation of firms and scientific institutions in the plant and animal fields, environmentally and industrially focused sectors and in biomedicine and pharmacy. The book also offers an overview of material suppliers and service providers. The textual part of the yearbook is supplemented with an interactive digital database accessible from the Gate2Biotech portal – upon free registration, users can easily and quickly search within it according to several different criteria.
