Fifteen companies use the possibility of personal consultations with CzechInvest specialists
10 May. 2010 | CzechInvest | Companies take interest in possibilities of aid fot their planned projects.
Representatives of fifteen companies took the opportunity to receive the latest information on possibilities to further expand their business operations in the Czech Republic during a meeting with specialists from CzechInvest. The working meeting was organised by CzechInvest in cooperation with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
During the event, representatives of investors gained not only important information about the services that CzechInvest provides free of charge; most of them also took the opportunity to engage in personal consultations with CzechInvest’s specialists in the areas of AfterCare, sourcing and CzechInvest’s priority sectors, i.e. the automotive and aerospace industries, mechanical engineering, electronics and electrical engineering, life sciences, IT and software development, nanotechnology and renewable and alternative sources of energy. During these discussions, the participants could receive specific advice on how they can further develop their operations in the Czech Republic.
“During the personal consultations, these businesspeople expressed the greatest interest in information pertaining to the area of services. They were interested in the kind of support that the Czech Republic offers to companies operating in this sector. Their questions thus most frequently were focused on drawing state-provided investment incentives or subsidies from European Union structural funds. There were also frequent queries regarding the unique database of suppliers that CzechInvest created and administrates. The participants wanted to know about inclusion in this database as well as the possibility of seeking out suitable suppliers for their work,” says Alexandra Rudyšarová, CEO of CzechInvest, describing the topics discussed.
The entire event met with a positive evaluation both from the participating businesspeople as well as from CzechInvest. CzechInvest is therefore already preparing other similar meetings. The next seminar featuring the possibility of personal consultations with specialists will take place at CzechInvest on 20 May 2010 at 9:00 a.m.
