Database of Czech suppliers to the automobile industry available on the internet
24 Aug. 2006 | CzechInvest | A unique new database containing data on more than 500 Czech suppliers to the automobile industry is now available on the internet. The companies entered in the database supply such global brands as VW, Daimler-Chrysler, Toyota, BMW, Ford, Volvo, Porsche and Audi.
“A unique feature of our database is that it allows searching for companies according to first, second, and third tier,” says Tomas Hruda, CEO of CzechInvest, which created and administers the database. “For those interested in using the database, it is available to the public free of charge at http://automotive.czechinvest.org/.”
The database serves foreign entities that are searching for Czech business partners for long-term collaboration and joint ventures. “Some companies are looking for suppliers in Central and Eastern Europe for the production of advanced auto parts demanding a high level of precision and durability. Through our database, we are able to make these companies aware of such suppliers,” explains Vojtech Rajtr, administrator of the database. In addition to references and contact information, the database contains the characteristics and descriptions of products.
“According to the given criteria, we are able to find firms for companies that are looking for Czech suppliers to the automobile industry, free of charge. We also help them set up meetings with selected producers and provide assistance during negotiations, which facilitates the establishment of business relationships, and we can also organize purchasing forums,” Rajtr adds.
