CzechInvest prezentoval české IT prostředí v New Yorku

From 9 to 11 May 2016, New York was the site of TechCrunch Disrupt, one of the most prestigious events for startups in the world. In connection with Startup Alley at the Brooklyn Cruise terminal, a full range of startup companies seeking partners for expansion, financing and development of their products and services exhibited over the course of three days.

In cooperation with the Czech ICT Alliance and CzechInvest, the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in New York supported the participation of Czech startups in this international conference. Within the Czech national pavilion, five companies and projects were presented and received a great deal of attention during the event. Those exhibiting included the companies Agent Balance, Clever Monitor, Databreakers and Sourcy, and visitors to the Czech pavilion were also given information about the Prague Startup Centre. The Consulate General and CzechInvest were available to parties interested in information and opportunities in the Czech IT environment.

“It is not easy to succeed in the highly competitive American market. Having an opportunity to find a strong partner than can help Czech startup firms is important and TechCrunch disrupt is an outstanding platform in that respect. I’m pleased that we can provide the attractive premises of the Bohemian National Hall for the presentation of Czech firms,” says Martin Dvořák, Consul General of the Czech Republic in New York.
