10 Oct. 2017 | CzechInvest | Together with other partners, the agency focused on high-tech investments
Representatives of CzechInvest held three investment seminars in China from 17 to 21 September 2017. The events were focused on attracting investors with high value added to the Czech Republic. In cooperation with the Association for Foreign Investment, the companies Deloitte, PRK Partners and 108 Agency, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing and the Consulate General in Shanghai, the agency’s representatives presented the Czech Republic as an ideal location for high-tech investments.
The first seminar was held in Xiamen in the Fujian province, where the jubilee edition of CIFIT, the biggest Chinese investment seminar, took place. Thanks to the high-quality participation of the members of the Czech delegation and the efforts of representatives of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Beijing and CzechInvest, the Czech Republic will be the main partner country next year.
The second investment seminar was held in the city of Hangzhou in the Zhejiang province.
The entire programme culminated with a networking event at Krajánek, a Czech pub in the centre of Shanghai, where key business ties were established in an informal atmosphere. The meetings could lead to up to ten future investment projects in various sectors including the automotive industry, advanced engineering, energy storage, financial services, logistics and power engineering. These investments thus involve a combination of industrial production and projects focused on construction of technology centres.
