CzechInvest gets its foreign offices back, will establish a new one in Seoul

1 Aug. 2014 | CzechInvest | The foreign offices of CzechInvest and CzechTrade have been returned to the agencies based on a decision of Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek.

The agencies regained their foreign offices after two years spent under the heading of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. CzechInvest currently has a total of six foreign offices, specifically in New York (USA), San Francisco (USA), Shanghai (China), Düsseldorf (Germany), Tokyo (Japan) and a joint office for Great Britain and Ireland in London. CzechInvest’s management is also preparing to establish a new office in Seoul, South Korea. The foreign offices are confirmation of the agency’s interest in the given regions as well as evidence of the countries’ investment potential for the Czech Republic. The offices are primarily focused on promoting CzechInvest’s services while offering firms information support and assisting them in seeking out suitable business properties and advising them in the area of sourcing, as well as providing other investment-related services.
