CzechInvest exhibits at CeBIT, the world’s biggest ICT trade fair with more than 200,000 attendees

CzechInvest prezentoval na největším veletrhu informačních a komunikačních technologií

from 14 to 18 March 2016 at CeBIT, the world’s biggest information and communication technologies trade fair, which this year was focused on the penetration of digitalisation into all areas of the economy and society. Representatives of CzechInvest presented the Czech IT sector and provided information on the investment environment and framework conditions for doing business in the Czech Republic.

Digitalisation is not a short-term phenomenon, but rather represents a long-term opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises. German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who traditionally opened the trade fair, joined in the call to intensify activities in the area of digitalisation. Approximately 3,300 companies from 70 countries, including nine firms from the Czech Republic, exhibited at this year’s edition of CeBIT, which was attended by more than 220,000 people.
