CzechInvest CEO presents successes of the Czech automotive industry at conference in Stuttgart

Generální ředitel CzechInvestu představil úspěchy českého automobilového průmyslu na konferenci ve Stuttgartu

Trends in the automotive industry were the main topics of a one-day forum held in Stuttgart on Tuesday, 8 November 2016.

New aspects in the areas of current automotive trends were presented by the chairmen of major Czech and German firms including, among others, ŠKODA AUTO and MAHLE GmbH, a leading German supplier of drive-system components. The director of the German Association of the Automotive Industry and the chairman of the Fraunhofer Institute in Stuttgart spoke about the challenges that the automotive industry currently faces. CzechInvest CEO Karel Kučera gave a presentation on behalf of the Czech Republic.

Approximately 300 conference participants could take part in roundtable discussions featuring representatives of supplier companies.

The event was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The Czech Republic served as the partner country of the 18th edition of the event, a position previously held by China, Mexico and Brazil.
