Czech Republic to Open Foreign Office in Colombia

The Czech Republish sees its priorities in terms of the economic cooperation with Colombia in the field of energy, particularly small and mid-sized hydroelectric and fossil power stations, the mining industry, transport infrastructure projects, and the environmental technology. This was said by Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek after a meeting with Colombian Minister of Foreign Affairs María Ángela Holguín Cuellar. According to his words, the trade exchange between the Czech Republic and Colombia grows. It reached the volume of CZK 1.5 bln at exports of CZK 862 mln and imports of CZK 610 mln in 2013. The Czech Republic will open a new foreign office of the ministry in Medellin in the middle of this year.
