Czech-Japan Science and Technology Days

[22 – 24 May. 2007 | Tokyo, Japan] Invitation to the third Czech-Japan Science and Technology Days

The third Czech-Japan Science and Technology Days will be held under the auspices of the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Mr. Mirek Topolánek, and with the cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) on the Japanese side. The event is also organized as a follow-up of the official visit of Mr. Václav Klaus, President of the Czech Republic, to Japan in February 2007.

The main objectives of this important event are:

  • To facilitate meetings of high-level government officials, leading scientists and top-level business representatives in order to explore and elaborate details on how to foster joint research and development projects and how to foster and put innovative high-tech products on international markets.
  • To broaden and deepen the result-focused and success-driven Czech-Japanese cooperation in scientific and technological innovations.
  • To make Czech-Japanese cooperation in science and technology the symbol and benchmark of highly efficient and fully successful international endeavors in this field.
