Czech aerospace sector exhibited in Japan
25 Jul. 2016 | CzechInvest | CzechInvest presented the sector at the Czech embassy to members of the Society of Japanese Aerospace Companies
Twice with two days, CzechInvest had the opportunity to present the Czech aerospace sector to a Japanese audience in Tokyo. At a seminar held by the Czech company Iguassu Software at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tokyo, CzechInvest’s local representative spoke about the newly established ESA BIC Prague space incubator, among other things. On the following day, 22 June 2015, he addressed the annual meeting of the steering committee of the Society of Japanese Aerospace Companies (SJAC). Together with Petr Bareš, chairman of the Czech Space Alliance, CzechInvest’s representative presented the Czech investment environment and aerospace sector to the members of the committee.
“The benefit of both events was, in particular, the different audiences, albeit from the same sector. While the first seminar was attended primarily by companies in the field of navigation systems, the members of the SJAC steering committee are mainly representatives of the most important companies manufacturing aircraft components,” explains Michal Žižlavský, CzechInvest’s representative in Japan.
On the topic of aerospace, CzechInvest is preparing, in conjunction with Czech companies, for the Japan Aerospace 2016 trade fair organised by the SJAC, which will take place in October.
