Japanese firms’ interest in the Czech Republic confirmed at seminars in Tokyo and elsewhere

21 Jul. 2014 | CzechInvest | Other Visegrad Four countries also gave presentations in three Japanese cities from to 3 July 2014.

Seminar Japan

At the close of each seminar, investment agencies from Central and Eastern Europe had the opportunity to alert Japanese investors to the region’s main advantages. The events were attended by representatives of CzechInvest, who familiarised participants with the experience of Japanese investors in the Czech Republic. For CzechInvest, the comprehensive presentation of the investment environment in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe meant personal consultations following the seminars as well as two meetings with potential investors. The seminars, which were held in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo, were organised by the Bank of Tokyo and KPMG and together were attended by roughly 400 people interested in investing in Central Europe. Attention was focused on macroeconomic data, property markets and investment incentives.
