CeBIT in Hannover, Germany
[9 Mar. 2006 | Germany] This year CeBIT 2006 was back with a host of innovative solutions. Main attractions included broadband Internet access for mobile users, high-resolution TV and video, integrated ICT services via Triple Play, new RFID applications, plus products and services for enhanced IT security. With excellent attendance figures, CeBIT has lived up to its reputation as the key platform for the ICT industry.
As well as talks on practical questions, IT Outsourcing Solutions Forum 2006 featured presentations on the strategic, entrepreneurial, economic, organizational and legal aspects of outsourcing. Moreover there was specialist lectures on topics such as: “Trends and developments on the outsourcing market”, “Outsourcing strategies and models” and “Management of strategic partnerships”.
Demand for outsourcing services is growing right across industry. Today’s businesses need leaner, more efficient processes in order to fight rising costs, ride out fluctuations in earnings or simply add more value. The marketplace format at CeBIT´s Hall 8 provided the right mix of information and contact opportunities for the growing number of companies interested in exploring external IT services.
