Aero Vodochody Delivered First Aircraft Parts for Embraer

Aero Vodochody sent the first shipment of the rear fuselage, the cargo ramp, all the car doors and the wing leading edge for the aircraft, KC-390, to the Brazilian company, Embraer. Aero participates in the development of the wing leading edge. The parts of the hull have the dimensions, 6.5 x 4.5 x 3.3 m. Theaircraft parts will be transported by the almost 70 meters long AN-124 Ruslan. Aero signed the contract concerning the production of the structural parts for the KC-390 aircraft in 2011. The first flight of the KC-390 is expected in 2014 and the aircraft should launch full operation in 2016.
